The Weather and Seasons Weather: Weather for Roleplay 001 - The Fires of Disception Aurelia, our new home, is much larger than earth, and therefore, has expanded seasons and weather patterns. It is because of this, that there is an extremely long winter, and a hot humid summer. But considering the fact that we just got done with the worse winter in ages, and instead of snow, we're getting rain, it can be determined that the weather is Fall. You can expect chance of heavy rain, heavy wind, humid days, cold nights, with chance of flooding. (place mouse over text to stop the scrolling) Plot Overview The World of Aurelia... Earth... for millions of years, it has been our home. It is described in legends, worshiped as a god, the source to every and any living creature. It is said to be our beginning, and our end. It has been worshipped, it has been feared, it has been thought of as the one santuary for mankind. Forged by the hands of God in seven days; For millions of years, humanity has lived here. For millions of years, man was born here. And now... it is dying. In the year 2319, it was confirmed that earth natural resources were depleting, and that the world was terraforming, static electricity storms, earth quakes, fires... flooding, hurricanes, and other abnormal natural disasters. Thus, NASA, presenting a project to the Review Board of Space Exploration and Planet Colonization, it was unanimously granted, that an advanced space craft, named the Andramada7, would conduct an advanced survaliance mission to search for a planet where humanity can make a second stand. Andramada was launched in the year 2321, March 22nd, and began it's perilous journey through the final frontier. But this did not end earth's troubles. Newly found technology institute, ResTech Industries, came up with a technological blow out that could replace the way we run our machines. It required two machines, and simple, low cost, and efficient chemicels. Placed before the review for demonstration, it was called the Elemental Phase Deconstructor (EPD), and Hydrocon. And from these inventions, ResTech was able to create the first Transwarp Drive engine, using low cost fuel from basic elements, iron oxides. Combined with the efforts of the Union Aerospace Corporation, they were able to create an engine capable of warp speed. And then... just as we began to loose all hope, and believe that this was the end of humanity... NASA recieved a datastream from the Andramada7, launched ten years ago, revealing photographs of an alien world. But what caught our eyes was the fact that it was full of life. Water, trees, forests, clouds, landmasses, mountains... it had everything earth had. It had an atmosphere identical to our own... and not only that, the planet itself was massive. With three super continents... but what caught their eyes, was the presence of life. We had just found, a planet with life. In the following years, NASA presented the information to the Union Aerospace Corporation, and the Reveiw for Outer-Planet Colonization, and presented NASA with a nearly limitless budget, and with the combined effort of scientists from China, Japan, and Russia, began to build a state-of-the-art ship, utilizing thrice, the EPD, the Hydrocon, and the Transwarp Drive, all headed by ResTech Industries, UAC Technologies, and NASA. It would be large enough to transport a team of engineers, scientists, marines, machines and equipment, to build a colony on the planet. The ship was named, "The Chariot." The Chariot was launched on November 15th, 2344, and entered EI553343/335644, Aurelia's orbit in 2346, a year and one month after it was launched, and deploys the international satelite, SOLG1, into Aurelia's orbit. Run by a Russian program, it construct itself into a full length satelite, and procedes to map the terrain of Aurelia. It was then, that the Chariot began to make it's descend into Aurelia's surface, landing in a sub-arctic area known today as Wellow. It was there, that we began to explore the world of Aurelia, setting up numerous command posts, building colonies, the first being completed in 2347... and that's when we encounted the planet's life forms... the marines... out on a routine patrol, never made their report. We sent in another platoon, only to find them torn to pieces. It was the discovery of the Mustelidei. An intelligent predator with utilization of most of it's brain. We had just discovered an alien species. But, these were mammals... like us. They weren't four feet tall, with green skin, and a head the shape of a lightbulb, they were animals. If anything, I'd say a wolverine, only, it had the snout of a wolf, and when standing on it's hind legs, they towered eight and a half feet tall. Earth would not hear of it. Despite the warnings of this race, we immediately labeled them as a hostile threat, and urged Houston not to send anymore ships until we learned more about the race... they refused... Aurelia had everything they ever needed... natural resources, life, breathable oxygen, water... they weren't going to halt the entire mission because of a weasle from hell. And they sent more.... alot more. It is now the year 5321, and the world of Aurelia, has transformed from a naked, uninhabited planet, to an exploding human ecosystem, complete with nations, countries, kingdoms. 2,971 years after the first colonies, and human intervention has transformed the world from what it used to be. Aurelia... is our new home. It is the new earth. Welcome to Cobra: The Chronicles of Mercenaries. Fight for those you love, fight for your country, serve in acts of patriotism that far surpasses any military. "...reclaim THE ONES YOU LOVE..." Belka,. a powerful country known for it's history of rebellion, haS declared war on the world that had silenced it's petition. Known for the possession of some of the most advanced technology in the world, they are a country not to be taken lightly, and following the declaration of war to the world, the legendary Grosnygrat Empire was born, a unity between several countries that had nearly pulvarised the entire Eastern continent in the flames of nuclear fire. "...the WILL TO FIGHT..." If you serve for Osea, you are Cobra, the most feared militant group in the world. You are strong, you are fast, skilled, and proficient in any way a soldier ever could be. You are angered, you are alone, Belka has taken over your country, and by the order of the leader, you are forced to retreat, retreat back with the citizens to the island of Khased, where a predestined Natural Fortress was discovered, and designated as a natural disaster or military refugee camp. You are confused, and lost, you just left everything you ever had behind in the city of Ourad... but, your not going to sit there and do nothing, are you? -You have your weapons, you have your uniform, you have your team, your band of brothers, your life, and your honor. You are a guardian of freedom, and the Democratic way of life. Fight for what you believe in, fight for those you love, fight for your honor, your country, for those who have died, fight for your survival, exploring the world of Aurelia and all her glory! -From the badlands of the No Man's Land, to the ruined streets of under-developed countries; face your adversary in the swealtering heat of the Stonehenge Desert, to the winter wastelands of Wellow, Anea, and Nordennavic. Ambush your enemy in the steamy rain forests of Sapin, avoid enemy fire in the dry and rugged terrain of Bryce Canyon. Keep your head in a swivel as you sweep through the dark and steamy allies of the metropolises of Yuctobonia, take the battle to the skies in futuristic fighters, and become a pilot. But who ever said you're restricted to just mercenaries? Be a defender of your country as a member of the armed services, and fight with the mercenaries as a squad leader. War is faught differently, no longer are there rules, no longer are there restrictions. You are trained to know one law, one effort, one creed, that there's only one law in war... TO SURVIVE! Cities & Landmarks/History/Battles - In thiSsection, you will locate the history of the many countries. Included within each thread are the time lines of the countries, the agendas, their primary source of energy, what they do for an average living. Inflation, and complete history. Included in the history will be the failures of the countries, and their achievements. Also will be included is their involvement in the Great War.

Aurelia	First colonized in the year 2347, it is our last hope of survival, filled with life, natural resources, and land, we, as humanity, have a new hope, and a new home. View the planet, and what possible life forms may exist.
Super Weapons of Aurelia	View ResTech's most natorious inventions of warfare, and what happened to them. You will be destroying them all.
Republic of Ustio	The south-eastern front that is home to the natural resouces that began the Great War.
The Kingdom of Sapin	In 5264, Belka invaded Sapin, as well as Osea and Ustio. Sapin, the Osean Federation, the Union of Yuktobanian Republics, and the Republic of Ustio formed the Allied Forces. The Allies won the war and regained their land. In present day, Sapin still exists.
Belka AKA The Groznygrat Empire	The eastern front of Eurosia, this country has dwindled from an empire, to a country of ruins. It has been under the establishment of no government, and no funds, living primarily off the fundamentals of a basic civilization. When the Great War ended, this empire was crushed, and the allies separated, leaving the country of Belka to it's own doing. Now, in the Age of Fear, the allies of Belka have forged into one once more, and have claimed the name, the Groznygrat Empire.
Osean Federation	The western side of Eurosia, containing the City of Dreams, ConAgra. Osea is a peaceful country which rules far to the west of Belka between the border of the none-militarized zone. It is here where some of the best education is made, and the birth place of the Philosophers, Wise Man's Committee. This country is massive, extending to the northern area of present day Singapore, (in the roleplay, will be called - Heraphmore) Containing theme parks, landmarks, and an extensive history, including the largest and oldest library in the world with the largest collection of human-written books; it is the city of dreams.
Yuctobonia	This country's chief form of living is weapons development. Home to the Grunder Industries, run by the capital of Osea, and funded from the Philosopher's Legacy, it has nearly unlimited funds, and therefore, can perform any function. Yuctobonia is home to some of the most advanced technology in the world, including the most feared arsenal to all. Nuclear Weapons.
Usea	Usea is a country that lies far to the east of the world, and is believed to be the last known location of man before they went extinct.
Democratic Republic of Leasath	It seems to share similarities to North Korea, especially in its relationship to the Federal Republic of Aurelia. After going through years of civil war, Leasath is now led by Commanding Officer Diego Gaspar Navarro.
Federal Republic of Rezuul	This is where most of the New World's mining operations are taking place, and is home ot one of the largest navel ports in the world. Home to the legendary Gründer Industries, they produce the worlds most devastating weapons.
